Terms and Conditions

QuietCore Pasadena Spray Foam Insulation, pasadenainsulationcontractor.com, hello@pasadenainsulationcontractor.com
Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and any work QuietCore Pasadena Spray Foam Insulation does at your house. By using the site, calling us or booking an estimate, you agree to them, so please read them before you reach out.
If we sign a written estimate or agreement with you for a job, that document controls wherever it says something different from this page. You can head back to our home page at any time.
What we do
We're an insulation contractor in Pasadena, CA. We work in attics, walls, crawl spaces and basements, and our work includes spray foam, blown-in insulation, removing old material and air sealing, which closes gaps before new insulation goes in.
This site describes our services in general terms so you can tell whether we're a good fit. The work we do at your house is whatever your written estimate says, because every attic is different until we've seen it. You can read more about our crew on the about page.
Estimates and pricing
Estimates are free, given at your property and obligation-free. We check how much insulation is already there and what condition it's in, because that sets the price more than anything else.
Nothing on this website is a price quote, and your estimate stays good for the period written on it. If we open up an attic or crawl space and find something we couldn't see before, like soaked material, droppings or damaged framing, we'll stop, show you and give you a written change before we do any extra work.
Scheduling and cancellation
We set a start date with you once you approve the estimate. Weather, material deliveries and what we find on the job can move that date, and if it happens we'll tell you as soon as we know.
Some products, spray foam in particular, need you, your kids and your pets out of the house for a while. Re-entry time, the point when it's safe to come back inside, follows the product maker's instructions, and we'll give you that time before the job starts.
If you need to cancel or move your date, call us at (626) 345-7649 as early as you can. Any cancellation charge, such as for material we already ordered for your job, will be written in your agreement, and we won't charge one that isn't.
Payment
Your agreement spells out any deposit and when the balance is due, and it's in writing before work starts. We won't ask for payment beyond what that agreement says.
If a payment runs late, we'll contact you first to sort it out. An unpaid balance may be sent to collection as the law allows.
Our guarantee and what we don't promise
We're licensed and fully insured, and your satisfaction is guaranteed. If something about our work isn't right, call us and we'll come back to look at it.
Any written warranty on our labor will be in your agreement. Insulation, foam and vapor barrier products carry their maker's warranty, and we pass that on to you.
Beyond what's in your agreement or required by law, we make no other promises, such as a set drop in your power bill, because that depends on parts of your house we don't control. This website is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate, but the general information here isn't advice for your particular house.
Limits on our liability
We're responsible for the work we do. We aren't responsible for problems that existed before we started and that we couldn't reasonably see, like hidden leaks, mold inside a wall or old wiring, or for damage from work other people do after we leave.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, like lost income or a hotel stay, that come from using this website or from a job. Nothing on this page limits any right you have under California law that can't be given up.
If we disagree
If you're unhappy with something, call us first, because most problems get fixed fastest with a conversation and a return visit. If that doesn't settle it, we both agree to try mediation before going to court.
Any case that does go to court will be heard in Los Angeles County, California.
Which law applies
These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page from time to time, and the version posted when you book your job is the one that applies to it.
If you have a question about these terms, use our contact page or call (626) 345-7649. Expect a reply within 1 business day.
